Memorial Day in Senoia

Please join the City of Senoia on Monday, May 30,2016 as we honor & remember our Veterans at the 11th annual Memorial Day Remembrance and Street Festival in downtown Senoia. The event starts at 10:00 with entertainment and a wonderful patriotic program at 12:00 with a flyover. The parade starts at 2:00 and a mini concert by the 116th National Guard Army Band after the 3:00 Moment of Remembrance. Enjoy the food court, children’s activities and street vendors! This event is sponsored by the City of Senoia Downtown Development Authority. Fireworks at Marimac Lakes Park on Pylant Street at dark.

Howard Road will be closed to Thru-Traffic Beginning April 4th

Coweta County has advised the City that construction to replace the two culverts and soften the curve at the intersection of Howard Road and Cumberland Trail will begin on April 4, 2016. Howard Road will be closed to thru-traffic during the project that is scheduled to take approximately one month. Traffic south of the intersection will have access via Hwy 16. Traffic south of the intersection will use Andrews Parkway. All Cumberland Trail traffic shall use the Hwy 16 entrance.

Seavy Street Park Construction Underway

Work to add parking, restrooms and control drainage is underway at Seavy Street Park. With a generous donation from AMC Studios, the City was able to add equipment to the playground and replace the surface of the playground. Construction should take approximately six months.
