Surplus Land

On May 17, 2010 the governing authority of the City of Senoia, Georgia declared surplus 7.348 acres of land within the city limits adjacent to the Atlantic Coastal Railroad on Coweta Street. Said land is to be sold by sealed bids with the condition that the buyer must build senior housing.

Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Senoia until 1:00 pm April 1, 2010 at Senoia City Hall located at 80 Main Street, Senoia, GA. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 1:01 pm. No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time or receipt of bids for a period of one hundred eighty (180) days.

The work to be done consists of the furnishing of all materials, labor and equipment for the complete construction of the Senoia CMAQ Multi-use Path Project, including, but not limited to, erosion control, maintenance of traffic, grading, excavation, subgrade preparation, concrete surface course, sidewalks, signs, pavement marking, landscaping and grassing.

Bid packages (plans and specifications) will be available for pickup on March 12, 2010. To obtain a bid package, please contact designer Sam Serio at the office of Keck & Wood, 2750 Premiere Parkway, Suite 900, Duluth, GA, 30097 to arrange for delivery or pickup and payment. There will be a non-refundable charge of $150.00 for the bid package. Make checks payable to Keck & Wood, Inc.

A pre-bid conference (not mandatory) for all Bidders will be held at Senoia City Hall on March 22, 2010 at 1:30 pm. Only Bidders on record with the designer as having received an original bid package may submit proposals. Contractors must be registered with GDOT.
