Downtown Development Authority

DDA home page

The downtown commercial area is densely developed and contains a significant collection of historic building types.  The Senoia Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is a public body created by the City of Senoia.  Our purpose is economic development through downtown revitalization, heritage, preservation, and restoration of an historic sense of place.  The Senoia DDA is an independent authority dedicated to the revitalization and promotion of all commercially zoned areas in the city limits of Senoia.

The DDA consists of seven directors, all volunteers, who are appointed by the city.  The four committees of the DDA are the Design, Economic Development, Organization, and Promotions.

The volunteers of the committees are responsible for all the DDA projects and events, including the Memorial Day Festivities, the Cruisin' to the Oldies Car Show, Light Up Senoia, and the Candlelight Tour of Homes.

Regular meetings for DDA of the City of Senoia are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Welcome Center located at 68 Main Street.
