The Code Enforcement deals with the 'Disturbance of quality of life'. This includes construction hours, illegal dumping, unsightly yards, vehicle storage, and sign ordinances.
Outside the spectrum of criminal and traffic offenses, enforcement of City codes falls to the Code Enforcement Officer within the Building Department. Common code enforcement issues include, but are not limited to:
- Junk Cars
- Construction Hours
- Barking Dogs
- Sign Permitting and Enforcement
- Loud Noises
- Enforcement of Erosion Control
- Illegal Dumping
- Enforcement of Tree Protection
To report a violation of the city code, please complete the "Complaint Form" and submit it to Bo Cummings at City Hall.
