City of Senoia Public Works Department manages the city's water system.
The City's Water Management department seeks to deliver clean and safe water to the residents of Senoia. J & T Environmental do regular tests of our water as well as manage the city's water plant.
A water meter measures the amount of water coming into your home or business. Your water meter is located outside your home in the city right of way. A trained public works employee reads the meter every month. You are billed for the amount of water you use. The bill covers the costs of treating and distributing the water. Sometimes, the city must buy water from Coweta County. All of these costs and the wages for the utility's staff must be met.
If you suspect a problem with the water system at your home or business please call City Hall (770) 599-3679 during business hours or the Police Department after business hours (770) 254-3911. They will immediately contact a member of the Public Works Department who will identify the source of the problem. If the problem is in an area outside our area of responsibility, we can provide you with guidance in correcting the problem.
