NOTICE OF PROPERTY TAX INCREASE
The City of Senoia has tentatively adopted a 2024 millage rate which will require an increase in property tax by 12.76 percent.
All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearing on the tax increase to be held at the Senoia Court Room on August 5th at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
Times and places of additional public hearings on this tax increase are at the Senoia Court Room on August 19th at 7:00 p.m.
This tentative increase will result in a millage rate of 4.806 mills, an increase of .544 mills. Without this tentative increase, the millage rate will be no more than 4.262 mills. The proposed tax increase for a home with a fair market value of 400,000 is approximately $87.04 and the proposed tax increase for a non-homestead property with a fair market value of $400,000 is approximately $87.04.
