One of the primary duties of the Historic Preservation Commission is to review Certificates of Appropriateness. An application for a COA can be picked up at City Hall. Applications shall include drawings, plans and additional information the Commission should consider while reviewing the application. To be considered at a Historic Preservation Commission meeting the application must be received at City Hall at least 10 days prior to the next scheduled meeting. If it is received less than 10 days before the meeting, the application will be considered during the meeting of the following month. The applicant shall be at the meeting to present the information and answer questions from the Commission.
