The Historic Neighborhood District Overlay is shown on the zoning map. In order to make a material change in the exterior appearance of an historic property, or any structure, site or object within such historic district, it is required that an application for a Certificate of Appropriateness is reviewed and approved by the Commission. In many cases professional drawings must be submitted with the application. However, some improvements may not require them.
